Microsoft Internet Mail setup for CAL Internet Services

To setup internet mail first start it by going to your start menu and clicking on internet mail or by clicking on "read mail" in internet explorer.

If you have used internet mail before you will have to put in new setings. If you haven't used it before a wizard will help you configure it. The wizard will ask you for the same settings but step by step.

1. Goto the mail menu and then select options.

2. Go accross to Connection and select I use a LAN connection.

3. Goto server - You will be presented with a screen like this.

In the name box type in your name. In the email address box type in you email address. You email address is your username@calis.com.

Next you will be asked for your incoming and outgoing mail servers The incoming and outgoing mail servers for Brisbane and Caboolture are mail.calis.com.

Lastly you will be asked for logon settings This is the same as your login username and password - MAKE SURE IT IS TYPED IN LOWER CASE. When you type in your password you will just see * for each leter. Make sure caps lock is not turned on otherwise your password will not work.

When finished Click OK.
