To Add an E-Mail Account in Outlook Express

On the Tools menu, click Accounts.

In the Internet Accounts dialog box, click the Add button.

Select Mail to open the Internet Connection Wizard.

Enter the name you want to be displayed. Push the next button.



Type your email address (username@calis.com) in the box. Push the next button.



Type in mail.calis.com for the Incoming mail server and the Outgoing mail server.  Push the next button.



Type in your username and password. Push the next button.



You are finished.

 

Now that you have multiple accounts setup, you get a drop-down menu in the "From" box when sending new emails. To use the one other than your default account, simply click in the From box, and then click the mail account you want.


Note! If you have more than one person in your house who uses the same computer for e-mail, each one can have a separate mail box in Outlook Express. This means that each person can have separate messages, contacts, and personal settings. This is possible by creating multiple "identities." Once created, you can switch between identities without having to shut down your computer or lose your Internet connection.
