| Installation
• Install ethernet/network (NIC) card on your
computer (consult with your computer/NIC manuals).
• Connect DSL equipment (CPE) to the wall phone
jack and to the computer with the CAT5 cable.
Configuration
• Go to Start -> Settings -> Control Panel
-> Network -> TCP/IP for network card properties
-> DNS Configuration. Do the following:
- Enable DNS and type:
- Go to "IP Address"
tab and select "Specify Address" option
and type:
IP <your
IP address>
Subnet 255.255.255.0
- Go to "Gateway"
tab and type <your Gateway address>.
• Go to Control Panel -> Settings -> Internet
Options -> Connections tab -> select "Never
dial a connection."
Also, while there click on "LAN Settings"
and make sure all the options are unchecked.
