4th of July

On Sunday, May 16th we held a Tri-Tip Sandwich fundraiser for the Retired Ministers and Missionaries Offering. The lunch consisted of a sandwich, chips and a drink for $5.00 and was available for pick-up or delivery. This mission is to raise money for retired sheperds who have given their lives to serving the Lord. A huge "Thanks" goes out to our cooks, Dennis and Jack and to Jaclyn and her preparation team for all the hard work. The turnout was awesome and the cause is great.

On July 3rd in celcbration of the 4th of July the City held a day in the park full of activites. We had a booth for kids to come play a game and get a prize. We also had a softball team called "The team formerly known as.." and a Missions Sponsered water barrel team called "The Holy Hosers" who won 3rd out of 6th. We had a great day and it was a great way to reach out.
