The worship services of Avenal First Baptist Church are an eclectic blend of traditional and contemporary music. The services involve the laity serving as the pastor's assistant leading a portion of the service, children's corner, special musical offerings, and other assistance as needed. The music is provided by piano, organ, guitar, CDs and other instruments as volunteered.
